# CBSE Board Exams from May 4, Practicals from March 1st next year

Earlier we told you the upcoming [CBSE Board exam will may be conducted on April or May next year](https://satyawaadi.com/cbse-class-10-12-2021-board-exam-april-may/), The Education Minister of India, Mr. Ramesh Nishank Pokhiryal, today was live on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/DrRPNishank/status/1344621106955620354) finally revealing the CBSE Board Exam date for the session 2020-21 students. The Minister said, the CBSE 10th and 12th board exam for the session 2020-21 will start from **May 4** and will end on **June 10** next year.

The **[Practical exams](https://satyawaadi.com/cbse-havent-announced-any-tentative-date-for-board-practical-exam/)** will be conducted from **March 1st**. The result of the board exam, however, is said to be declared by **July 15** next year, so that the next session of the students will not be getting late.

Most of the schools have already conducted the pre-board exams. Some conducted it in online mode while others in the offline mode. However, CBSE has already said earlier that the final board exam will be conducted **offline only**.

Seeing the global pandemic, while the nation announced the lockdown back in March this year, Schools shifted the classes of the students online but we can’t hide our face from that the online classes are not that good in comparison to the offline one. Seeing the same, CBSE **reduced the 30% syllabus** of the current academic session for the board students.

And now has given the students ample time to prepare for their board exam.

While most of the competitive examination synchronises with the announced date of the board exam, the date of **NEET-UG exam** may get affected as it is usually conducted in May each year.

Also, while the date of the board exam is announced now the students have to wait for the **date sheet** which is said to be released soon.

Anyways it is good that the students have something to strategize their preparation.
