# CBSE might conduct the Class 10th and 12th 2021 Board Exams on April or May

Back in March this year, After India announced it’s first [lockdown](https://satyawaadi.com/lockdown-extended-till-june-30-in-containment-zones/), Since then along with other institutions Schools are also closed however, students are getting classes online from the school authority. Now, although students are getting classes online they encounter a ton of problems each day. Seeing the same, Back on July this year, CBSE, CISCE and some other state boards reduced the syllabus for session 2021 Class 10th and 12th students by 30%. However, now a Times of India report states, CBSE and CISCE might reduce the syllabus for session 2021 class 10th and 12th students by 50%.

The same report also told that, CBSE and CISCE is also considering to conduct the board exams for session 2021 class 10th and 12th students in April or May next year. Now, you know that every year CBSE conducts the Class 10th and 12th board exams in the month of February and March, but seeing a global pandemic outbreak this year, CBSE says, we are planning to provide students the classroom education may be for one or two month before they appear for their board exams.

Hence, for now you can consider, CBSE might reduce the syllabus for session 2021 class 10th and 12th exams and also might extend the exam date to April or May next year.

Now, although the Government of India has allowed schools to open giving classes to the students following the standard operating procedure, some states still haven’t followed the same.

In fact in my opinion too this is a great decision, either to decrease the syllabus by 50% or to delay the exam date by one or two months so as to give students proper classroom education and time to prepare for their board exam. It could also happen that CBSE might both decrease the syllabus as well as extend the exam date, as it isn’t said publicly.

Let’s see what will happen next, meanwhile you could let us know your opinion about the same in the comments below.
