Seeing the current state of the existing global pandemic in our country, there has been a growing demand of cancelling this year’s Class 12th board exam.

Last month, the board announced the cancellation of this year’s Class 10th board exam and has said the decision to conduct this year’s Class 12th board exam will be taken in June.

Now, seeing the current state of COVID in our country, while many students, teachers and schools are already demanding to cancel this year’s Class 12th board exam, as per a source, a senior official in the education ministry has said, seeing the current situation, the board may cancel this year’s Class 12th board exam.

So, what will happen to the academic year of this year’s Class 12th board students? Well, many believe and demanded that the board should evaluate the Class 12th students just like they evaluate the Class 10th students through what they call as “Objective Criterion”.

Those of you who don’t know, after cancelling this year’s class 10th board exam, the CBSE has evaluated and promoted the same class of students based on marks they got in their School’s Internal and Pre-board exam. The CBSE recently has made a site live (https://www.cbse.gov.in/newsite/reg2021.html) where it has asked the schools to submit the marks of their Class 10th students.

It is expected, if the board will cancel this year’s Class 12th examination then the marks will be evaluated and the students will be promoted based on the same methods that has been taken for the Class 10th students.
