How Railway Board Profit Increase from 9 Crore to 900 Crore

On March 24, Prime Minister Modi announced a 21-day nationwide lockdown to prevent the growing infection of Corona in the country. This 21-day lockdown was to end today, but in view of the instability of Corona infection in the country, this morning Prime Minister Modi has extended the duration of the same 21 day lockdown for 19 days. Now the nationwide lockdown will be in force till May 3.

Meanwhile, after extending the period of lockdown by the Prime Minister, Indian Railways has also made an important announcement. Indian Railways has stopped operating all passenger trains till May 3. Apart from this, all railway ticket booking counters (reserved and unreserved) will also remain closed till May 3.

After discontinuing the operation of all passenger trains in the country till 3 May, the Indian Railways has also announced a full refund for all canceled tickets. Indian Railways has said that online ticket cancell facility will be available during this period, through which passengers can easily cancel their tickets and they will also get full refund.

However, as before, the operation of goods and parcel trains has not been stopped so that essential goods can reach all corners of the country through this medium.
