Reserve Bank of India recently announced that they will soon roll out a new Rs 20 note. This new 20 rupee note will be of greenish yellow color and you will find one of our country’s heritageEllora Caves printed on the back side of the note. One the front side we some new things like new signature of current RBI governor Shaktikanta Das. RBI, Bharat, India and 20 printed with Micro letters.
Note that this new 20 rupee note too falls under Mahatma Gandhi New Series notes. The launch of this new Rs 20 note however not affect the current Rs 20 note as RBI clears says the old notes are also the legal tender.
The dimension of this new Rs 20 note is 63mm by 129mm and it contains several designs and geometric patterns.
On the reverse side of the note you will also find Swachh Bharat logo along with the slogan. On the left of reverse side of the note, you will find the year of printing of the note.
