On June 1, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister. In view of the second wave of Corona, it was decided in that meeting that it is not appropriate in any way to conduct offline examination of children without vaccination. In the meeting, it was decided to cancel this year’s Class 12th board examination.
After this, on June 4, CBSE formed a committee of 13 members who will make objective criteria to evaluate the Class 12th students within 10 days.
Now on one hand, where most of the schools have conducted practical and internal assessment exams for their class 12 students, some schools are still lagging behind due to Corona.
In view of such schools, CBSE has now given a chance to the schools to upload the 12th Marks by June 28. Apart from this, CBSE has asked the schools to conduct the internal assessment exam online.
How will the internal assessment of CBSE class XII students be done?
The board has asked the schools to declare the date of online internal exam in advance. Also share the exam link with students and external examiners.
For practical exams, CBSE will issue external examiners themselves.
The External Examiners will decide the exam date in consultation with the School’s Internal Examiner.
In such subjects, for which external examiner is not required, in such subjects only the school teacher will take the internal assessment according to the syllabus and will award the marks by visiting the link issued by CBSE.
During Viva Voice, the internal examiner will take screenshots of himself, the student and that of the external examiner, or if he wishes, he can also record the entire session for school records.
CBSE has asked the schools to upload the marks of the children correctly because once the marks are uploaded there is no provision to correct them.
