In a bid to improve, the quality of education of Class 6th to 10th students for the subjects like Science, Math and English, CBSE in collaboration with British Council’s Competency based Education Project is launching an Assessment Framework today.

The Education Minister of India, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal tweeted that he himself is going to launch the Assessment Framework today at 5 PM.

While more details are yet to come, this Assessment Framework is said to improve the practical knowledge of Science, Math, and English subjects.

It is an additional initiative that runs alongside the current academic syllabus that means the students can take part in it while completing their textbooks. The Framework is said to be designed based on the CBSE syllabus and NCERT curriculum.

The Assessment Framework has been made to follow the goals of National Education Policy 2020. It is said the framework has been developed to improve the thinking and analytical skills of the students.
