The wait is over for lakhs of railway job aspirants across India. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced the RRB NTPC 2025 exam dates. According to the notification, the Computer Based Test (CBT 1) for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) will begin on June 5, 2025, and continue in multiple phases across regions.
What is RRB NTPC?
RRB NTPC is a nationwide recruitment exam conducted to fill vacancies in various graduate and undergraduate posts in the Indian Railways. These include:
- Commercial Apprentice
- Station Master
- Junior Clerk cum Typist
- Goods Guard
- Accounts Clerk cum Typist
This year’s recruitment aims to fill more than 35,000 vacancies across zones.

Exam Structure
The selection process includes the following stages:

Region-Wise Phase System
Just like previous years, the RRB will conduct the CBT 1 exam in phases based on the number of applicants. The exam city and date intimation will be sent individually via email and SMS and published on the respective RRB websites.
Admit Card and Mock Test Access
Candidates will be able to download the admit card four days prior to their scheduled exam date. Mock test links will also be activated on the official websites to help candidates get familiar with the interface.
