The Indian comedy and Crime Thriller movie Andhadhun has got 3 National awards in the 66th National Film Award. The movie was released last year and is a superhit when able to collect Rs 453 crore in the box office with a budget of merely Rs 32 crore.
Now, In the announcement of 66th National Film Awards 2018, this Ayushmann Khurana starrer movie Andhadhun has got 3 National Award. The first one is for the Best Hindi Film whereas the second and the third one is for the Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Actor respectively.
Ayushmann Khurana (for Adhadhun) and Vicky Kaushal (for URI: The Surgical Strike) are the ones who have got the Best Actor Award in 66th National Film Award 2018.
Well, every year National Film award is given in April, but this year the date was extended because of the clash with General elections.
Those of you who don’t know let me tell you that every year Juries of National Film award select the winners. Juries, on the other hand, is a group of members appointed by Directorate of Film Festivals in India. Once the Jury made the list of winners, they submit it to the Information and Broadcasting Minister of India.
