We all have been using Amazon for shopping and in recent days for watching TV Shows, Movies and Listening to Music. But now we could even book movie tickets on Amazon. Yes you heard it right! Amazon has partnered with BookMyShow to afford this new feature. Right now, You can spot this new feature or say the option on Amazon Mobile site as well as their App for both the Android and iOS. However, it seems like the same option is not live yet on their Desktop site. Booking movie tickets online growing its craze in India recently when digital payments app like PayTm also gives user the ability to do so. Although BookMyShow gives user the same ability from early days but the method find its craze among user once PayTm introduces the same facility. The only reason user opt for PayTm and not choosing BookMyShow in early days is PayTm providing Cashbacks and Vouchers.

Following PayTm, now Amazon introduces the same feature by partnering with BookMyShow. Also, Amazon is providing cashbacks and now users have a variety of options to choose for booking movie tickets online.
We talk about cashbacks here, so I forgot to mention user who book a movie ticket via Amazon in between November 1, 2019 to November 14, 2019 get upto Rs. 250 cashbacks in their Amazon Pay account. You can see, that is an introductory offer promoting this new feature and option.

How to Book a Movie Ticket on Amazon?
Well, there is no hard way as you can see, you can book a movie ticket via Amazon through their App. So, if you haven’t installed Amazon App, make sure to install it first as it is available both on Google Playstore and Apple store.
One done create an Amazon account if you haven’t created one.
Now if you have completed all the things I have mentioned in the above two para you are good to go to the next step.
Open the Amazon App and then navigate to location Shop by Category > Movie Tickets.
Now, feed you city name, choose the movie that is available in your city, and you want to watch. Then, select the seats, and next provide the payment.
Once done you’ll get your movie tickets on your registered mail account.
One thing you might notice while booking tickets on Amazon is powered by BookMyShow mark that you can easily spot on the bottom of the App. This mark explains consumer that Amazon is providing this ticket booking facility in partner with BookMyShow.
Another thing to notice about this feature is that it is not the main options as one can spot it under the Shop by Category option — the same as in the case of BookMyShow App and vice versa.
Digital payment is a growing market in India because right now there aren’t as many platforms are present who have a variety of partners. Some of the popular digital payment providers in India are PayTm, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, Phone Pe and more.
Out of these providers, only a few of them let users book movie tickets, PayTm is an example and now Amazon app also comes in the list.
