In a bid to easily find vacant seats after the chart preparation, Indians railways enabled IRCTC to display reservation charts online. Till now, Indian railways prepare the reservation chart 4 hours before the scheduled departure of the Train. However, now, they are going to make two reservation charts, the first one with the same timing offline while the second one is online 30 minutes before the departure of the Train.
One can now find the reservation chart of a train both on the web as well as on the IRCTC Ticket booking app. However, make sure to query a reservation chart at most 30 minutes before the departure of the Train.

Once you open the link, there you have to enter three details i.e., the Train Number, The Journey Date, and the Boarding station, next to that you can access the reservation chart.
The reservation chart, on the other hand, sorts the vacant seats both class as well as coach wise. You can also choose the coach number to see the number of vacant seats in a respective coach.
