Amazon Packaging Free Shipment expand to more Indian Cities

Amazon Packaging free shipment is an initiative that helps to make environment healthy. In this initiative, Amazon ships the product in their original packaging without any extra packaging layer from their side. This helps to reduce the generation of secondary waste product from Amazon side. Do note, Amazon has started an Initiative few years ago called Shipment Zero. With this initiative, Amazon looking forward to deliver Zero Carbon shipment of their product till year 2030.

Right now, Amazon Packaging Free Shipment is live on Five Indian cities i.e. Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Chennai, Hyderabad and Noida. Now, Amazon looks forward to roll out it in four additional Indian cities i.e. Delhi, Mumbai, Nagpur and Ahmedabad.

Amazon explains, They will not roll any additional packages on Items such as Tech accessories, Automotive accessories, Home Improvement Products etc. That means, these items fall in the packaging free shipment category. However, they must provide an additional package over fragile or liquide items.

Do note that, When Amazon will made this initiative live in the city I mentioned above, they will inform their customer about it before shipping their product.

Also, one interesting thing to know here is, Amazon starts this initiative first in India and right now it is not available in any other parts of the world.
