On the one hand, where the whole world is disconcerted by the corona epidemic, on the other hand, Disney is also not unsullied by it. The vivid evidence is the new release date of all the upcoming films made under the Walt Disney Company. This article is about all those movies that have been rescheduled by Disney to a different release date. So without a further delay, let’s take a look at all those movies for which Disney has changed the release date.
Disney Rescheduled Movies List 2020-22
Disney recently has reschedule its theatrical calendar for all the movies releasing in between 2020-22 and in this article, I make a list of all those movies. Also, mentioning their previous as well as the new release date.
Black Widow
Black Widow is the first movie MCU going to release after Avengers Endgame and Spider Far from home. Earlier it was planned to release the Black Widow on May 1, 2020. However, if we follow The Hollywood Reporter, then, now it is releasing on November 6 this year.
The Eternals
Now, coming to November 6 (the same day when Black Widow is reportedly going to release), the spot was reserved for The Eternals, which is now going to release on February 12, 2021.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
Again, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was earlier planned to release on February 12, 2021, but as we mentioned above the same day The Eternals is going to release, and now, Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings is going to release on May 7, 2021.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
May 7, 2021, was reserved for Doctor Strange, and now this movie is reportedly going to release on November 5 next year.
Thor: Love and Thunder
The third chapter of Thor now going to Knock the theatre on February 28, 2022.
Black Panther 2
As clear from the title, the second chapter of Black Panther is releasing on May 8, 2022.
Captain Marvel
Captain Marvel is set to open two weeks early on its earlier release date. That means the second chapter of the same title is going to release on July 8, 2022.
Mulan
Talking about Mulan that was planned to release the 27th of last month but got a reschedule call and now releasing on July 24.
Free Guy
Starring Ryan Reynolds and Taika Waitti, this one got a reschedule call for December 11 this year while earlier it was planned to release on July 1.
Jungle Cruise
An upcoming adventure film starring Dwayne Johnson and other stars planned to release on July 30 this year, but now Disney has pushed its release date to a full year. That means soon it is releasing on July 30, 2021.
Indiana Jones
The Fifth Chapter of Indiana Jones, which hasn’t got a title extension this time like three of its previous titles, and be simply called by the name Indiana Jones 5 is releasing on July 29, 2022, instead of July 9, 2021.
The French Dispatch
A comedy-drama has written and directed by Wes Anderson (the same guy behind The Grand Budapest Hotel and Isle of Dogs) has also got a new release date i.e., on October 16 this year. This title was earlier planned to release on July 24, however, now shifted around 3 months forward.
New Mutants
The next installment of X-Men series directed by Josh Boone (the same guy who directed one of the best American Romantic Drama in 2014 called The fault in our Stars) has been very unlucky in terms of its release. The film was initially planned to release back on April 13, 2018, then being delayed to February 22, 2019, to avoid Deadpool 2, and then to August 2, 2019, to avoid Dark Phoenix. This year it was scheduled to release on April 3, 2020, but again delayed for an indefinite period amid Corona outbreak in the whole world.
