In these three months, the figures for the global pandemic have seriously risen in the country. Hence, it doesn’t look like the multiplexes are going to be open anytime soon.

Amid all this, there is a deficiency of new Hindi films in the country. Although some state government permits film producers and directors to shoot when following necessary guidelines, the question is where they are going to publish their movies.

Following the same, In India, movie producers and directors are now advancing towards the OTT platforms to publish movies digitally.

Take Disney+ Hotstar as an archetype, that recently has been debuted in India and is now publishing a list of Hindi movies in the coming months digitally. This article is all about these movies, So, without further ado here is the list.

List of Hindi Movies that are going to release digitally on Disney+ Hotstar

Laxmmi Bomb

Starring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani and the remake of the Tamil film, Muni 2: Kanchana, Laxmmi Bomb is going to release digitally on Disney+ Hotstar somewhere around Navratri this year. Akshay Kumar has been playing the role of a transgender person in this movie.

Sadak 2

The sequel of the year 1991’s Sadak, this one stars Pooja Bhatt, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sanjay Dutt. As most of you know, Mahesh Batt has already worked with his elder daughter Pooja Bhatt in 1991’s Sadak; he is working for the first time with his daughter Alia Bhatt in the sequel as Sadak 2.

Bhuj: The Pride of India

Starring Ajay Devgan as Sq. Ld. Vijay Karnik, this movie is based on the 1971 Indo-pak war. Abhishek Dudhaiya directs the film, and it also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, Ammy Virk, and Sharad Kelkar. It was scheduled to release theatrically on August 14, 2020, but now is going to release on Disney+ Hotstar, and for now, we are not sure about its release date on the OTT platform.

The Big Bull

A movie based on the life of Stockbroker Harshad Mehta, who had engaged in many financial crimes. Starring Abhishek Bachchan, Illeana D’Cruz, Nikita Dutta, and Sohum Shah, it produced by Ajay Devgn and directed by Kookie Gulati. Before lockdown, it was scheduled to release it on October 23 theatrically, it was now going to be released digitally on Disney+ Hotstar with an uncertain release date yet.

Dil Bechara

Starring Late Sushant Singh Rajpoot and Sanjana Sanghi in the lead role, Dil Bechara is the remake of the famous Hollywood movie, The Fault in our stars, which in turn is based on John’s Green novel of the same name. Beside Sushant and Sanjana, Saif Ali Khan has played a pivotal role in the movie. Earlier, Dil Bechara was proposed to release on May 8, but following lockdown, the release was postponed. Now, it is releasing digitally on Disney+ Hotstar with a release date that is yet to come.

Mimi

Starring Kriti Sanon playing as a surrogate mother in the lead role, Mimi is the remake of National Award Winning Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy (2011). It has been shot in Jaipur and Churu. Mimi also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar, Manoj Pahwa, and Supriya Pathak as pivotal roles. Laxman Utekar (Luka Chuppi) also directs this one with Kriti.

Shiddat

Starring Sunny Kaushal (Vicky Kaushal’s Brother) and Radhika Madan in the lead role, Shiddat is a love story directed by Kunal Deshmukh. You will also see Diana Penty and Mohit Raina in the movie.

Lootcase

After a very long time, we are going to Kunal Kemmu is the comedy. Beside Kunal, Rasika Duggal is also in the lead role. This one postponed multiple times and now looking forward to releasing digitally.
