Aadhaar Pan Linking Deadline Extends to 31 March 2019. Officials take this decision on the same day when the previous Aadhaar Pan Linking Deadline expires i.e. 30 June 2018. This is the fifth time government extend the date of Aadhaar and Pan linking.
According to Act 119, Income tax department takes this decision. However, the main reason to extend this date is that of a decision by Supreme Court. Let me tell you that, the supreme court has taken a decision in which it says the deadline for linking Aadhaar with various services will extend continuously until the formation of a 5 member committee.
According to a report, the total number of Pan card Holders in our country is approximately 33 crore. However, 16.65 crore PAN card holders have already linked their PAN card with Aadhaar.
