Today is the last date to link your Aadhaar PAN online. Income Tax Department of India has made Aadhaar and PAN linking mandatory. This rule falls under Section 139 AA(2) of Income Tax Act. It says every individual who have a PAN card and have an Aadhaar Card, must give their PAN card number to Income Tax Department of India. Moreover, they can do so by linking these two cards together.
One who doesn’t link their PAN and Aadhaar will not able to file IT return for the assessment year 2019-20. Moreover, Income Tax Department of India will also block their PAN Card.
