Bihar Achieve 100 percent Household Electrification

Bihar Achieve 100 percent Household Electrification as on October 25. The state whose people are treated as backward. The State whose population ranks 2nd position in India has now achieved 100 percent household electrification. Seems like a slap over those faces who treat Bihar as the backward state. Bihar now comes under the list of those states who have 100 percent household electrification. Bihar power secretary Pratyaya Amrit reveals this info to Economic Times.

The State has approximately 32 lakh houses and to achieve 100 percent household electrification task is not so easy. If you go through the data of the highest number of households in India, Uttar Pradesh Grabs this position.

In Uttar Pradesh, there are approximately 1.32 crore households. However, Uttar Pradesh is able to electrify only 36 percent of its households so far. Looking at Bihar, the state completes this task before the deadline given by Central government i.e. December 31, 2018.

Let me know you, Central Government introduces Saubhagya Scheme back in September 2017. This scheme focus on to electrify every household in India. Moreover, Central Ministry has set the deadline to fully complete this scheme as on December 31, 2018.

Some experts say Bihar is able to complete this task easily because of the close coordination between Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Power Minister RK Singh.
