Concerning protest against Citizenship Amendment Bill, Telecom companies like Airtel, Vodafone and Jio have suspended their operation in some regions of Delhi. Many users on Twitter reported about the Internet shutdown and ask telecom companies to explain the reason. The Telecom companies, on the other hand, says, with instructions from Government authorities they suspend Voice, Data and SMS operation in some areas of Delhi once the authority lifts their suspension order we again resolute our operation.

As per Airtel these different areas in Delhi includes Seelampur, ITO and India Gate. On the other side, Vodafone reveals some more areas of Delhi where Internet suspension order forms up. The name of these areas are Jamia, Shaheen Bagh, Bawana, Seelampur, Jaffrabad, Mandi House and Walled City.

Jio also confirms some of the users about the Internet shutdown in their area as per the Government Directives.

Here are all the tweets from different telecom companies that officially confirms the internet shutdown in different areas of Delhi.

Now, one thing you may notice in the above tweet is Vodafone says they resume their operation after 1 pm on November 19. However, we haven’t got any words from other telecom companies. Once we get more details, we will update it here.
