Gujarat Starts Giving 10% Reservation to General Caste which President of India recently approves. Now, it became the first state which starts gives 10% reservation to the General Caste Community. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani Announce about it this Sunday. Experts estimates that approximately 1.5 crore people from Gujarat benefit form this new rule.
Note that only those people benefit from 10% General Caste reservation whose financial condition is weak. Note that 2 years ago, i.e. On April 29, 2016, Chief Minister of Gujarat Anandi Ben Patel already announce 10% reservation to those community whose annual income is less than Rs 6 lakh. Infact, Cabinet at that time approves that bill. However, later High court rejects that bill.
Now, President Ram Nath Kovind approve 10% reservation to general community whose annual income is less than Rs 8 lakh.
Who will get benefit from 10% General Category Reservation?
Individual who fulfill the below criteria falls down to those who get benefit from 10% General Category Reservation.
The annual income of the Individual or the family must be less than Rs. 8 Lakh.
Those who have less than 5 Acre of Land. Moreover, One who has less than 1000sqft. of residential land.
One can get benefit from this reservation while taking a job or getting admission to higher educational institutions. Note that this new reservation scheme only applies to those examinations that has not been taken yet. If you already give the oral, written, or computer examination before January 14, 2019, then you will not get benefit from this reservation scheme.
