Today, the Central Board of Secondary Education has released a notification in which the Board has ordered all the Principals and Heads of Institutions affliated to CBSE to conduct the examinations of Class 9 and 11 as soon as possible and start the next session of these Classes from April 1, 2021.
Here is what CBSE says about conducting Class 9 and 11 final exam.
For Class 9 and 11, schools should take steps to identify and remedy the learning gaps and thereafter, conduct examinations by strictly following COVID safety protocols as per Examination Bye-Laws. The exam will also help in idenfying learning gaps which could be addressed by the schools in new academic session, at the beginning of classes, by having a bridge course specially designed to address learning gaps.
While Holding examinations/classes, COVID safety protocols should be followed strictly. It would be appropiate to start the academic session 2021-2022 from 1st April, 2021 to the extent feasible subject to the instrutions of the State Government.
All Schools are requested to follow the above suggestions to make the next session more streamlined and ensure that learning gaps.

From the above it can be clearly seen that CBSE Schools in India are now going to conduct the Class 9th and Class 11th final exam of this session as soon as possible and will pass most of the students as they have to start the next session in just one and a half month.
In the meanwhile, most of you already know that, starting this month CBSE has released the datesheet of Class 10th and 12th 2021 board exam.
