After epic sports drama Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Farhan Akhtar working on Boxing movie. Not Just acting as the lead role in the movie Farhaan also is the co-producer of movie along with Ritesh Sidhwani.
This movie is directed by the same director who directs Bhaag Milkha Bhaag i.e. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. For Bhaag Milkha Bhaag Farhan already get the Filmfare award for Best Actor.
This new movie titled Toofan for which Farhan and Rakeysh working together is not a biopic however. Farhan’s trainer Samir Jaura already starts the training. Talking about the movie, it is going to release this year however, the date has not been confirmed yet.
It’s been a total of 6 years when we again see Farhan and Rakeysh together working on a same project. Farhan play the role of Boxer in this movie. The script for this movie is written by Anjum Rajabali. When Farhan first read the script he immediately agree to sign up for this movie.
Note that one of the upcoming movie in which you’ll see Farhan as the lead role is The Fakir of Venice. This movie is going to release on January 18, 2019. The Fakir of Venice should release 10 years ago but due to production issue it release after 10 years.
