On Monday, Indian Railway has Launched Rail Madad and Menu on Rails App. The Primary task of both of these apps is to enhance the Passenger Experience on Indian Railway. The First App where lodge all your complaints where the second one brings you the rate of all the food items. Let’s talk about both of these two apps in detail.

In my opinion, both of these apps are quite useful, but the Rail Madad app is very necessary. This App act as a communication line between the Rail officials and passengers on the go. Now, we have to look at how properly railway officials will manage this app. Beside all these let’s talk about the features present in both Apps.
Features Present in Rail Madad App
With Rail Madad App you can lodge a complaint about any issue which disturbs your traveling experience.
Moreover, When you register a complaint then you get a Unique ID which symbolizes your complaint is registered in the officials’ database.
After you register a complaint through this app, the monitoring railway official will get a notification about the issue. Then, they will take further action on it.
One your issue will resolve, you will get an SMS on your registered Mobile Number.
Beside lodging the complaint this app also gives you some helpline numbers like Security helpline, RPF helpline etc. Railway officials assure that when a person calls on these helpline numbers we respond immediately.
Features Present in Menu on Rail App
The Basic theme of Menu on Rail App is to serve you the rate of Food items present in Trains.
However, the food items covered are Breakfast, Meals, Beverages, and A-La-Carte.
Currently, Menu on Rail App contains the content about Food items for Mail and Express trains.
The App displays the rate of Food Items column by column both for Trains and Stations. However, Food Plaza and Fast Food Unit are not covered under this.
You can download and use this app both on iOS and Android Platforms. However, A native web Version is also available.
