Maximum Number of Tickets a user can Book
A user can book a maximum only 6 Tickets in one month. Moreover, If you have already created your own account in IRCTC, then, in that case, you can book a maximum of up to 12 tickets a month. Creating an account in IRCTC means that, creating your own User ID & Password.
Ticket Booking Timings Ban for Railway Agents
Now, Indian Railway has presented a strict Vigilance on Travel Agents. In fact, Railway has banned the ticket booking by the agents from 8 am to 8:30 am, 10 to 10:30 am & 11 to 11:30 am in the morning.
User Get the Full Money Refund on cancellation Tatkal Ticket
If a user books a Tatkal Ticket, then upon cancellation the ticket he/she does get a single rupee back. Moreover, if the train starts with a delay of more than 3 hours from its scheduled time, then, in that case, user get the full money back. Please note that this case is valid only if the user has a Tatkal Ticket
Getting the Full Refund upon Cancellation of Ticket
If you book a ticket and for some reason cancel it, then in that you get some money back after deducting the Cancellation Charges. However, If a Train is diverted to some other root and you don’t want to travel through that diverted root. Therefore, In that case, if you cancel the ticket, Railway gives you the full refund.
Quick Booking Service
A person cannot use the Quick Booking Service from 8 am to 12 Noon. However, In Quick Booking service, you have to fill your login, passenger & payment details. After this, you can book your ticket.
