I mean, in a TV series (and of course not anime).
Well, Netflix is adding one more series to its Original’s playlist.
A series that is full of zombies and viruses.
Yes, you guessed it right, I am talking about Resident Evil.
Inspired by the popular Japanese horror video game series called “Biohazard”, many of you will definitely have seen the five-chapter Resident Evil movie starring Milla Jovovich.
However, now this time, we will enjoy seeing the New Raccoon City and Umbrella Corporation in a live-action TV series.
Netflix Resident Evil TV Series Release Date 2022
Back in August 2020, Netflix first announced this series and released its teaser last December.

Now, we came to know that Netflix is releasing the Resident Evil Series this summer i.e. on July 14, 2022.
The series will have a total of eight episodes and each episode is one-hour long.
It will feature the below list of stars:
- Lance Reddick as Albert Wesker
- Ella Balinska
- Tamara Smart
- Siena Agudong
- Adeline Rudolph
- Paola Nunez
The series is produced by Constantin Film, the same company that produced the popular five-chapter Resident Evil movie.
Netflix Live-Action Resident Evil Series Plot
In the year 2022, a deadly virus caused a global apocalypse.
The series will show you the Year 2036 – 14 years after the global apocalypse.
You will see Jade Wesker fighting for her survival owned by blood-thirsty infected creatures.
Probably the series will continue will two timelines:
- Both the sisters Jade and Billie Wesker moved to New Raccoon city as teenagers.
- A Future in which Jade and others are fighting for their survival from the infected creatures.
