Telangana: Via his official Twitter Handle, Telangana Chief Minister, K. Chandrashekar Rao announced to promote all the Class 10th students of the Telangana State board to the next class without taking the exam.
The Chief Minister of the state asserts now it is not possible to hold the board exams of Telangana State Board students any further amid rising pandemic cases in the state. Therefore, It has been decided to promote all the Class 10th students of the Telangana State Board to their higher class on the basis of grades they got in their Internal Assessment Examination.
With this decision, around 5.35 lakh Class 10th students are now going to promoted to the higher class in Telangana State Board this year.
Do note that before the lockdown begins in India, Telangana already conducts three papers of the first and second language of Class 10th exam. But, the lockdown then postponed the examination. Later, On May 22, the board decided to conduct the examination in between June 8 to July 5 this year. But, now the board and the Chief Minister of the state has decided to promote the students of Class 10th board without taking any examination.
