2. The Red Rain at Idduki, Kerala

Idduki is one of the famous coastal towns of Kerala. It is also known as “RED REGION”. Furthermore, this place is mysterious because of the red rains. Yes, Red Rains. The first shower of the red rain fell on 25th July 2001. Then Occurred for 2 months in an irregular sequence staining clothes and buildings. Further, after a lot of scientific debate, they came to a conclusion. The Red particles in the rain are Airborne spores of the locally growing alga in this region.

Roopkund Lake is a glacier lake located at an elevation of 16,500 feet in the most God-forsaken place in the Himalayas. But it’s remote and dangerous location has got nothing to do with the gloom and despair associated with this lake. It’s what lies beneath it that scares the shit out of most people.
Around 300-600 skeletons can be seen beneath the frozen lake every year when the ice melts. Radio Carbon tests show that these are from 15th Century AD
