UPSC releases revised 2020 Exam Calendar

Back in June Last year, UPSC released the exam calendar for the year 2020. However, that time it wasn’t known that many exams is going to be postponed amid global pandemic outbreak in the country. In the last two month, Many examinations was postponed due to COVID-19 outbreak and lockdown imposed in the country. Recently, Indian Government announce about Unlock 1 that is going to start from June 8 in the non-containment zones. Following the announcement examinations that was postponed earlier are now getting the new conducting dates. In the same league, UPSC today has released the revised exam calendar fo the year 2020.

Take the UPSC Civil Service Prelims exam as an example, that was earlier scheduled to be conducted on May 31, 2020, but now has been scheduled to be conducted on October 4, 2020. The UPSC Mains 2020 exam, on the other hand, has got the new date of January 8, 2021. Simliarly, other examinations has also got a new conducting date and below I have listed all these examinations with its new date.

To make it simple for you to understand, out of 25 examinations that UPSC has earlier scheduled to conduct this year, the commission has revised the schedule of 8 of these examinations. Here is the list of those 8 examinations for which UPSC has revised the schedule.

Now, out of these 8 examinations, the date of notification and the last date to apply for the exam has also been changed for 3 examinations that are S.NO. 3, 6, and 7 respectively. The new date of notifcation and the last date to apply for these examination are mentioned below.
