On December 8, CBSE conducted CTET exam at a total of 2935 exam centers in 110 cities of India. A total of 28,32,120 candidates registered to give this exam, in which 16,46,620 candidates giving paper 1 and 11,85,500 candidates giving paper 2. Now, 19 days after conducting the examination, CBSE has released the result. This time 22.55 percent of the total candidates registered (i.e. 5,42,285) have qualified the exam.
Among the qualified candidates, 3,12,558 candidates are female and 2,29,718 candidates are male. So, women dominated this exam too.
This is the first time in so many years that the result of CTET exam has come in just 19 days. Although on 23 December, CBSE released the exam answer key and the candidates were given the chance to report the wrong answers till 25 December.

Steps to Check CTET December 2019 Result Online
- Visit CTET official website at https://ctet.nic.in
- Now, once you open the website at the bottom of the homepage you see a green tab marked CTET Result December 2019.
- Click on it and you will be redirected to a page where you have to feed your Roll number to check the result.
In this exam, Candidates who have qualified Paper 1 are eligible to teach students from class 1 to 5, while those who have qualified Paper 2 can teach students from class 6 to 8. However, Candidates who qualified in Both the papers can teach students from class 1 to 8.
CBSE conducts the CTET exam 2 times every year, one in the month of July and the other in the month of December. Through CTET exam, quality teachers are recruited in government schools.
