HDFC Sends Summon Notice via Email and WhatsApp

Now, HDFC Sends summon Notice via Email and WhatsApp to its Customer who violates protocols related to check bounce. Bank officials believe that this new way of communication could soon resolve the pending cases. According to them, this is one of the fastest ways (i.e. email and WhatsApp) right now to communicate with their customer.

Revealing the figure, Bank authority explains there are more than 60 lakh bounced check cases that are pending in our country. To resolve these cases as quickly as possible HDFC consult and takes permission with the court to send summon notice via this digital medium.

According to the bank official, these days people don’t change their Mobile Number and Email ID more frequently. So, this new way of communication is really powerful. Revealing some number, Bank officials say till now they have sent more than 250 summon notices to their customers.

Following are the states where this new means of communication takes place:

  1. Maharastra
  2. Gujarat
  3. West Bengal
  4. Tamil Nadu
  5. Odisha
  6. UP

Those of you who don’t know, the violation of check bounce case fall under section 138 of Indian penal code. So, In our opinion consult the authority immediately if you also fall into this category.
